Last Updated: July 22, 2026

Welcome to GitShout. By using our website, services, and applications, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

GitShout provides a subscription-based software service that integrates with GitHub, Telegram, and social media platforms to generate and publish marketing updates. By creating an account or connecting integrations, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the service.

2. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Refunds

Certain parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring, periodic cycle (monthly) depending on the plan you select.

  • Billing Processors: All billing, invoicing, and subscription renewals are managed via Stripe.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refund Policy: We offer a standard refund policy. If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase to request a full refund.

3. User Content & Publishing Responsibility

GitShout utilizes AI engines to draft content based on your commit messages. However, you maintain absolute, final editorial control and responsibility for all content published through GitShout.

  • You must review every draft copy before clicking "Approve".
  • We do not guarantee the correctness, truthfulness, or social media performance/engagement of any generated posts.
  • We are not liable for any account suspensions, shadowbans, or negative public reaction resulting from copy published using GitShout integrations.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use GitShout to:

  • Publish hate speech, abuse, harassment, or illegal content.
  • Circumvent or abuse social media rate-limits, spam rules, or automated posting guidelines.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the security of GitShout databases and services.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

GitShout is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall GitShout, its directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill) arising out of your use of the service.
